Why we built it

Most contractor software is built around an office. It assumes there’s someone at a desk setting things up, a crew to schedule, and a manager running reports.

But when you’re the person estimating the job, doing the work, answering the phone, and keeping the business moving, you don’t need another system to manage. You need a faster way to get a professional estimate in front of the customer.

That’s what DeftBid is built to do. Create the estimate where you’re standing and send it as one link. Your customer can review it on their phone, request changes, accept it, and sign. Change orders stay with the same bid and get their own approval, so you always know where the job stands without chasing down paperwork or wondering whether the customer saw it.

What we hold to

• The bid should look like the work. Your name, logo, business details, and a clean, precise proposal, every time.
• One link is enough. Your customer should not need an app, an account, or a PDF attachment to review and approve the job.
• One price, every device. Use DeftBid from your phone, tablet, or computer with one subscription. No seat counts and no extra modules.
• Leave things out on purpose. DeftBid isn’t trying to run every part of your business. Crew scheduling, payroll, purchase orders, and complicated permission systems only add value if you actually need them. We’d rather keep estimating simple.
• Your data is yours. Export your information when you need it. DeftBid uses product analytics to understand how the software is working, not to sell advertising.

DeftBid is built by Tarsow Creative LLC in Logan, Utah. The same small team designs it, builds it, and supports the contractors who use it.
